The body adjusts pretty quickly to the same routines, and there are many misconceptions about exercise. For instance, more aerobic training isn’t always better for your body and can sometimes be counterproductive.

The body uses a protective mechanism that actually slows down its metabolism if it doesn’t have enough recovery time–not what you want when you are trying to reach a certain cardio/aerobic goal. You can overcome this by varying your aerobics so your metabolism stays high. Frankie informs all of his clients on how much, how long, and how hard to do their cardio workouts, and this schedule is changed every few weeks based on the progress you are making.
